How to Customize the Background Check Email Template

When a Background Check is ordered for a user through QuickApp, the user receives an email notifying them that a Background Check Application is pending completion. Abuse Prevention Systems allows Members to customize email templates to share important information with users, such as deadlines for Background Checks and contact details for a specific Administrator at their organization.

Locating The Background Check Email Templates:

- Click the ‘Background Checks’ tab in the left-hand menu.

- Click the ‘Settings’ tab.

- Scroll down and locate the ‘Background Check Email’ section to customize the email template. 

Please Note: Background Check emails are automatically enabled on your account. If you would like to disable Background Check emails, please contact us at 817-737-7233 or Support@AbusePreventionSystems.com

Background Check Email Template Options:

- ClickChoose File’ to upload your organization’s logo.

- ClickEmail Templates’ to create or edit Background Check email templates.

- ClickAdd New Template’ to create a new Background Check email template or click the edit icon to edit an existing template.

- Select ‘Back to Background Check Module Configuration’ once the email template has been created or edited. 

- Locate and select the email template you would like to use.

- Click the ‘Reminder Frequency.’ 

- Click the ‘Reminder Expiration.’ 

- Enable or disable the ‘About the Background Check Process’ section. This section provides a step-by-step Background Check process for each user.
