Safety System Administrators will receive notifications whenever an event– or any arrest activity– is reported through Continuous Monitoring.
To View Events:
- In the ‘Background Checks’ tab of your Control Panel, click ‘Continuous Monitoring.’
- Click ‘Monitoring Events.’
- New events are reported under the ‘Continuous Monitoring New Events’ section. To view an event, select the paper icon to the left of the User’s name or select ‘View’ under the gear symbol.
To Manage An Event:
- Once reviewed, you may take action on the event by clicking the gear symbol on the User.
- You may now ‘Pre-Adverse - Employee’ or ‘Acknowledge’ the event.
- Pre-Adverse: If you determine to not allow the Applicant to serve or work with your Organization due to the event, you must follow the Adverse Action Process. To do so, select ‘Pre-Adverse - Employee’ and follow the on-screen steps to send a Pre-Adverse Action Letter to the Applicant.
- Adverse Action: Once the Pre-Adverse Action has occurred, and a reasonable timeframe has passed, select ‘Adverse.’
Acknowledge: If you do not choose to take Adverse Action related to the Applicant, who will be allowed to continue to work or serve, select ‘Acknowledge.’
