How to Customize the Training Email Template

Training Email Templates can be customized to communicate important information to users, such as Training deadlines or contact information for a specific Administrator at the organization.

To create a new Email Template:

  1. Click ‘Trainings’ in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click ‘Training Settings’ in the top menu.
  3. Click the ‘envelope’ icon under ‘Email Templates’ by the Training you wish to edit.
  4. Select ‘Add new template’.
  5. Name the Email Template in the ‘Contact Name’ field. (This name is for internal use only and will not be seen by Trainees.)
  6. Select the email address you would like the email to come from in the ’Send Fromfield.
  7. Write the subject of the Training email in the ‘Subject’ field.
  8. Set an Email Template as the ‘Organization’ or ‘Administrator Email Template’ if you’d like to activate the Template for future use.
  9. Create the message in the ‘Message’ field.
  10. Click ‘Save Email.’

NOTE:

Select Set as ‘Organization Email Template’ to use this Email Template for all Safety System Administrators and Supervisors within the organization’s account.

Select set as ‘Administrator Email Template’ to use this Email Template only for yourself. The ‘Administrator Email Template’ overrides the ‘Organization Email Template.’ This function is useful if an Administrator would like to utilize a specific Email Template (with specified contact information or specific program name) rather than an Email Template intended for the entire organization.

 

How to edit an existing Email Template:

  1. Click ‘Trainings’ in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click ‘Training Settings’ in the top menu.
  3. Click the ‘envelope’ icon under ‘Email Templates’ by the Training you wish to edit.
  4. Select the ‘edit’ button to the far right.
