How to Manually Enter Background Checks From an Outside Source

To track Background Check completions and renewals from another provider in the Control Panel:

- Click ‘Manage Users’ on the left-hand menu.

- Click the edit user icon to the left of the user’s name.

- Check the box next to ‘External BG Check Completed.’

- Enter the date when the Background Check must be renewed.

- Click ‘Save.’

You may also upload an external Background Check at the bottom of a user’s profile. To do so, click ‘Add Attachment’. Please redact all personal identifying information from uploaded documents, such as social security numbers and dates of birth, in order to protect identity and ensure document security.

Can’t see the edit icon? Supervisors are unable to edit users’ information by default, so a Safety System Administrator must give this capability. Click here to learn how.
