How often should we renew Background Checks?

Follow

We recommend refreshing Background Checks every 2-3 years. Before choosing a renewal period for Background Checks, check municipal, state and federal law to ensure that no existing law regulating your locale or service provision requires a mandated renewal period. In addition, check with your licensing body, if applicable, to ensure compliance with licensure requirements. (Example: In many states, licensed camps must refresh Background Checks yearly.)
